Organizational Structure

The Accredited Laboratory of Radiohygiene (SEFOLAB) is formed by the following divisions of NRIRR:

• Division of Occupational Radiohygiene
• Division of Public and Environmental Radiohygiene
• Division of Electromagnetic Radiations
• Division of Optical and Laser Radiations
• National Personal Dosimetry Service

The Hungarian Accreditation Board (authorised by the Law LXXVIII of 2005) issued the Accreditation Certificate (registration number: NAT-1-0969/2005, valid until: 19 December 2009) recognizing the Laboratory had complied with the criteria of Hungarian Standard MSZ EN ISO/IEC 17025:20015 as a

"Testing Laboratory".

Note: the certificates issued by the Laboratory of Radiohygiene are accepted by Hungarian authorities requiring preliminary laboratory investigations for the licensing processes.
