On the behalf of the Organising Committee, the Council of the European Society for Radiation Biology and the Hungarian Biophysical Society, it is our pleasure to cordially invite you to European Radiation Research 2004 (ERR2004). ERR2004 will be held in Budapest, Hungary from August 25-28, 2004 as the 33rd Congress organized under the auspices of the European Society for Radiation Biology (ESRB). One of the major goals of ESRB is to encourage international cooperation and communication in all fields of radiation research. This Meeting will provide a forum for the exchange of scientific ideas for all scientists of radiation research and clinicians of various countries.
As in previous years, all aspects of radiation research will be included in the scientific program. The program will contain educational lectures to facilitate contacts between young and established scientists. A Workshop entitled "Latent times of deterministic late effects after radiation exposure" will be sponsored and organised by the European Late Effects Project Group (EULEP).
ESRB will offer a number of travel awards for young scientists. The eligibility criteria are available elsewhere at the congress Website.
An international scientific congress is always an opportunity to pass on knowledge, renew old acquaintances, make new friends and it can also be an occasion to collaborate in new projects. It is a time to discover another city, another country and to see new insights and new customs. We hope you will enjoy Budapest and Hungary.
The Organizers are proud to announce that the main patron of the meeting is Dr. Mihály Kökény, the Minister of Health, Social and Family Affairs.
