Tasks of the Division

• Operation of infrastructure of information centres collecting and processing results measured by environmental radiological monitoring networks belonging to the Hungarian health sector:
  • RAMDAN Information Centre,
  • JERMS Data Processing And Analyzing Centre,
  • NERMS Information Centre
• Development and maintenance of on-line data collecting system of RAMDAN
• Support of laboratories of RAMDAN
• Development and maintenance of on-line data collecting system of NERMS
• Support of data supplier networks/centres of NERMS
• Research and development of dispersion models to describe the environmental transport of radioactive isotopes within different media, especially:
  • atmosphere, and
  • terrestrial foodchains.
• System administration and pperation of IT infrastructure of NRIRR, providing on-line services via internet, management and maintenance of public DNS, mail and web servers
• Planning developments related to field of IT for NRIRR
• Planning and establishing data bases, development of software applications
• IT support and organization of training courses for staff of NRIRR and laboratories of RAMDAN
• Providing statistical evaluation for the researchers of NRIRR
